Bhubaneswar: Professor Ganeshi Lal, who was on Friday appointed as the new Governor of Odisha by President Ram Nath Kovind, will come to Odisha tomorrow and will take oath of the office and secrecy on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, speaking exclusively to KalingaTV, Prof Ganeshi said, “Guarding the constitution of India will be my first priority. However, I will also focus on the development in health and education sector and work on how not only India but also the whole world will come to know the youth of Odisha through their education.”
“I will also keep trainer to learn Odia,” he added.

On the other hand, Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik, who was given the additional charge of Odisha since March 21 after completion of former Governor Dr. S C Jamir’s tenure, has been given farewell with a guard of hounour.
The post of Odisha Governor had fallen vacant in March this year after Jamir completed his tenure.
Prof Lal is a former president of BJP’s Haryana State unit. He had also served as the Food Supplies Minister of Haryana. Besides, he was the national president of the BJP’s Disciplinary Committee.
