Subarnapur: Tightening the noose around the necks of the gamblers in the district, police last night busted a gambling den in Hutuma village in Binika area and took 11 persons into custody.
The held persons have been identified as residents of Bheden and Binika areas.
The raid was conducted after local police got a tip-off on the gambling den which was running inside a house discreetly for past few months.
During the raid police also seized four cars, 22 motorcycles and cash worth Rs 11,350 from the possession of the gamblers.
The held persons have been forwarded to court today post necessary quizzing, said police.
