Khordha: Police raided a gambling den in Paltan Padia area under the Banapur police limits in Odisha’s Khordha district on Monday and apprehended 4 people for their alleged involvement in the illegal activity.
As per reports, Banapur police team lead by IIC Sanjay Pattanaik raided a gambling den near Tikirai temple in Paltan Padia area.
Police seized Rs 5,800 cash, one mobile phone, three motorcycles and other incriminating materials from the spot.
The police has registered a case with the number 354/20 at Banapur police station and the accused have been forwarded to the court. Further investigation is on, police said.
