Fresh Circular Issued By Odisha Govt On Premature Retirement Plan For Its Employees.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has issued a fresh circular on premature retirement plan of government employees.

A notification issued by the General Administration (GA) department said that the move is aimed to weed out officers and employees of doubtful integrity or inefficiency from public service to ensure efficiency in administration.

According to the GA department circular, state government employees who have completed 30 years in service or attained 50 years of age (whichever is earlier) and those who have attained 55 years of age would come under the purview of the premature retirement plan.

All the departments have been asked to maintain a registrar of officials, who are completing 30 years of service or attain 50 years of age (whichever is earlier) or attain 55 years of age. Reports of every quarterly performance review meeting of employees will be submitted to the GA department.
