Bhubaneswar: Nayapalli police last night arrested four youths for allegedly stealing cash worth Rs 9 lakh from a house in the area in the first week of August.
The accused have been identified as Kartika Nayak (19), Ganesh Nayak (25), Bhuban Mohanty (19) and Amit Kumar Parida (20). Police have seized cash worth Rs 2.24 lakh from the accused along with a motorcycle used in the crime.
Police said that the accused had stolen cash worth Rs 9 lakh from the house of Kailash Chandra Sahu. “ Sahu had got the money after selling a patch of land. The accused had broken into the house of Sahu before stealing the cash,” said a police official.
