Jajpur: At least four rooms gutted and assests worth lakhs were reduced to ashes in a massive fire that broke out Jharkula village under Balichandrapur police limits in Jajpur district.
Sources said, the fire broke out in one Sk Samsulu Haq and Mansur Haq house and later spread to four other rooms of the houses. Properties worth lakhs reduced to ashes including domestic animal were charred to death.
On being informed, Chandikhol Fire tender reached the spot and doused the flames.
The exact reason of the fire is still to be ascertained.
