Kalahandi: Four people of a village were hacked to death in Pipalguda under Jaipatna police limits in Kalahandi district. While the time of death is yet to be ascertained, the bodies were recovered early Sunday morning.
Three of the victims have been identified as Sugara Nayak, Linga Nayak, Nakul Nayak who belong to one family and the fourth one was identified as Upi Sabara.
As per reports, the four of the victims were in an inebriated condition when murdered in cold blood. While the motive behind this dastardly action is not clear yet, it is has been established that a sharp weapon was used. Their slain bodies were recovered from beside the road.
The police have been questioning a Jatindra Nayak in this matter and an investigating underway.
