Four children from Odisha to get National Bravery Awards 2018

Bhubaneswar:  Four children from Odisha will get the National Bravery Awards 2018 on the Republic Day.

Jhili Bagh, Ranjita Majhi, Biswajit Puhan and Situ Mallick are the four children who have been selected by the Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW) for the coveted award.

According to reports, Situ Mallick(15), who dragged his uncle Binod Malik to safety when a crocodile suddenly attacked him in the village pond on February 20 last year, will be given the prestigious Bapu Gaidhani Award.

Malik is a class 10 student of government-run Basudebpur Vidyapitha high school in Kandira village of Kendrapara district.
