Foundation stone for KISS-Bhartia School to be laid on Bahuda Jatra

MoU for KISS-Bhartia School Bhubaneswar: The foundation stone of KISS-Bharatia Residential School will be laid on the day of Bahuda Jatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings on July 3.

Around 5000 saints from across the country are slated to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony.

The institute will be opened based on the model of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar with full support of Bhartia Charitable Trust.

A Memorandum of Understanding in this regard has already been signed between Dr Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT & KISS and Kishanlal Agarwal, Chairman, Bhartia Charitable Trust.

The KISS-Bhartia School will be fully residential like KISS-Bhubaneswar. Children, both boys and girls, of poor Brahmin families will get free education accommodation, food and healthcare.

The students will be given special training on Vedas, Karmakand and theology, especially on the Jagannath culture.

While KISS has purchased 15 acres of land at Puri for setting up the School, Bhartia Charitable Trust will provide full financial support for the infrastructure.

The academic session will begin from July, 2018 with 1200 students. Students from Class I to Class XII will be enrolled.

This will be first of its kind in India.
