Former Sundergarh MLA Jogesh Singh joins BJD today

Bhubaneswar: Former Sundergarh MLA Jogesh Singh joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the presence of party president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Wednesday.

He along with his supporters from Sundergarh Assembly constituency joined the regional party at a special function held at BJD party office here this morning.

Earlier in January this year, Singh had resigned from the membership of Odisha Assembly as well as the Congress party after he was suspended by the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) for his alleged anti-party activities.
