Former Odisha MP Sugrib Singh passes away

Phulbani: In a sad incident, former Odisha MP Sugib Singh passed away of Covid 19. His brother-in-law Philiman Nayak informed about his demise on Monday.

As per reports, Singh was admitted to KIMS Hospital on Sunday for treatment. However, he passed away on Monday morning, KIMS hospital authorities intimated to Nayak, the brother-in-law of the former MP.

Sugrib Singh initiated his carrier as a journalist. Later he entered into politics and became the NAC chairman in Phulbani. He was elected as MP of Phulbanai constituency in 2004. His native place is Dasingbadi in Daringbadi block of Kandhamal district. He was born on 1 August 1963. For the last few years he was living in at plot no. 56 in Aryapalli area in Bhubaneswar.
