Bhubaneswar: Former Higher Education Minister of Odisha Bhagabat Prasad Mohanty passed away at his residence here last night. He was 93.
Late Mohanty was having the credit of getting elected to the Odisha Legislative on three occasions from Kendrapara constituency to his name. He had won the poll race in 1971 with the ticket of Praja Socialist Party (PSP) and then in 1985 and 1995 as a Congress candidate.
Leaders across the party lines have expressed their condolence over the demise of the able leader.
