Bhubaneswar: Former Mayurbhanj MP and senior party leader Laxman Tudu resigned from BJD today.

Tudu declared about his exit after sending his resignation to BJD supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik. However he didn’t mention anything about the reason of his exit from the party, says reports.

It was being speculated since long that Tudu could resign from the conch party as he was denied a ticket in last General Elections in 2014.  The sitting MLA Ramchandra Hansda had been chosen over Tudu at that time which had shocked the latter’s supporters.

Tudu had been elected to the Lower House of the Parliament in the 2009 election in BJD ticket.
