Forester In Sonepur Of Odisha Under Vigilance Scanner, Raids Underway

Sonepur: On the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by a Forester in Binika Forest Section under Binika Range Office of Sonepur district in Odisha is under vigilance scanner.

The Forester has been identified as Jagabandhu Barik.

According to reports, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division, at the following places namely:

(1) Residential double storey building at Shantipara in Sonepur

(2) Residential double storey under construction at Sonepur Town

(3) Office Chamber of Sri Barik at Binika Forest Section under Binika Range Office (Territorial) in Sonepur.

Search warrants have been issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur division.
