Bhubaneswar: The Air Asia flight operations between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok will be suspended from September 25, informed authorities of Biju Patnaik International Airport today.
Airport authorities said that Air Asia have informed them about temporary suspension of international flights to Bangkok from Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar-Bangkok AirAsia flights used to fly three times in a week- Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight service between the two cities was launched on December 6, 2018.
Earlier the airport authorities have decided to partially shut flight operations for eight months owing to recarpeting work on the main runway which is scheduled to be undertaken in two phases from November this year.
