Firecracker Factory Busted In Odisha’s Cuttack, 3 Arrested, Crackers Worth Lakhs Seized

Cuttack: A firecracker factory has been busted by Commissionerate Police today and firecrackers worth almost 10 lakh has been seized.

Three people have been arrested in this connection. Multiple factories at Padmapur, Mahajanpur and Trilochanpur were raided.

The firecrackers were being illegally manufactured. The team was led by the Inspector- In- Charge (IIC) of Jagatpur Police Station in Cuttack early this morning.

It is noteworthy that sale of fire crackers has been declared illegal from November 10- November 30 this year by the government due to the ongoing Covid pandemic.
