Fire Breaks Out In Talcher Town Of Odisha, Property Worth Lakhs Gutted

Angul: A major fire broke out at a house in Talcher city of Angul district in Odisha early this morning. The incident took place in Kishorganj Patna Sahi area under ward no 10 of Talcher municipality. The house belonged to Bulu Singh of Kishorganj Patna Sahi in Talcher.

The inferno reportedly took place in Bulu Singh’s house then later got spread to the the houses of his three neighbours. It completely destroyed the houses and assets worth lakhs were reduced to ashes within no time. However, the members of the families narrowly escaped from the fire mishap.

On being informed, the fire-fighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

The local authorities also arrived at the scene to asses the damage done due to fire.

Till filing of this report, the cause of the fire was not known.
