Paradip: A major fire broke out at the refinery of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) here this morning. No one was injured in the accident, informed an IOCL official.
According to reports, an oil pipe near Gate-I of the refinery caught fire at around 10.30 AM. Dense smoke in large scale was seen billowing out from the refinery, spreading panic among the local people.
Meanwhile, at least four fire brigade units rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
However, the reason behind the outbreak of fire is yet to be ascertained.
