Fight between servitors of Puri Srimandir leaves one injured

Puri: In a shocking incident, a servitor of Puri Srimandir sustained injuries after allegedly being attacked by another servitor on Monday morning.

According to reports, a word of exchange took place between a Jatri Sahayak servitor and a Suara servitor as the latter had gone to the Jagannath Temple in the morning.

The exchange of words took an ugly turn when the Suara servitor attacked the Jatri Sahayak servitor following which the latter received injuries on his head.

The Jatri Sahayak servitor has been admitted to the District Headquarter Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the Singhadwar Police is said to have started an investigation into the matter. The cops have detained the Suara servitor for interrogation over the matter.
