Bhubaneswar : The body of a female bank manager of a government-owned commercial bank was found hanging inside her rented house at Baramunda Housing Board Colony here in Odisha on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as R. Ranjita Rao. She was working as Senior Manager at UCO Bank’s Ashok Nagar branch in the city. She was staying along with her family in a rented house in the colony.
On being informed, Khandagiri police reached the spot and seized the body. Later, the body was sent to Capital Hospital for autopsy test.
“The reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained. We have sent the body for post-mortem. Investigation is on in this connection,” police said.
