Balasore: A father along with his younger son killed his elder son over property dispute at Badapokhari village under Oupada police limits in the district late last night.
According to reports, a man identified as Jangal Singh (35) was beaten up by his father Ram Singh and younger brother Jatia Singh mercilessly over property dispute. He had received grievous injuries on his head in the attack.
On being alerted by Jangal, some villagers rescued him and rushed him to Oupada hospital in a critical condition. His wife Sukanti, who was absent during the fight, reached the hospital after getting information and shifted him to Soro Community Health Centre as his health condition deteriorated. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment this morning.
Oupada police started an investigation into the incident detaining Ram Singh and Jatia Singh.
