Father and 2 daughters killed, grandson critical in road accident in Odisha

Ganjam: In an unfortunate incident, a father and his two daughters have been killed in a road accident near Indhanpur village under Gangapur police limits in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district.

Reportedly, the man along with his two daughters and his grandson were traveling to Gangapur from Muniguda in a 2-wheeler (Luna).

A pickup van collided head-on against the two-wheeler near Indhanpur village. As a result, three of the family lost their lives on the spot whereas the man’s grandson sustained critical injuries.

On getting the information, Gangapur Police arrived at the spot and recovered the bodies. The deceased minor’s grandson was rushed to the Aska hospital for immediate medical treatment.

A probe has been initiated into the matter. The identity of the deceased members of the family has not yet been ascertained.
