Family urges to Govt for rescue of Odia man Pralay Kumar stranded in Ukraine

Jajpur: In the wake of Russia’s Ukraine invasion people from different countries have been stranded in the war affected country. Among them, though some Indians have been rescued, many are still stranded. As per reports, about 20 thousand Indians are still stranded in Ukraine. There are many Odia people among them.

Among the people of Odisha who have stranded in Ukraine, family members of Pralaya Kumar Nayak have urged the Central Government as well as Odisha Government to take necessary steps for his rescue.

Pralay is the son of Basanta Nayak of Biruhanpada village under Korei Police limits in Jajpur district. He has been living in Ukraine for the last two years for Medical studies. He is a student of second year MBBS in the Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine.

Pralaya had come down to his home back in Odisha six months ago due to Covid pandemic. However, later after Covid situation improved he had again travelled to Ukraine to continue his medical studies.
