Family Members Of Lady PEO Leave Their Village Citing Threat To Their Lives

Jajpur: Family members of deceased Haridaspur PEO Smitarani Biswal have left their village citing threat to their lives.

Father of the deceased reportedly went to the house of his son in law in Talcher along with his wife. The house was found locked despite police deployment.

Biswal was found hanging in the guest house of Rupesh Bhadra, the husband of Haridaspur sarpanch on October 16. Subsequently, police had arrested Bhdra was arrested on October 19 for abetting Biswal’s suicide.

Opposition parties have now and again targeted the police and had alleged the police of giving suicide angle in the murder case. They have also criticized the police for assassinating the character of the deceased by claiming that Biswal had an affair with Bhadra.
