Kendrapada: A number of youths from Aali, Rajkanika and Rajnagar were duped for about 10 lakhs under false pretences of getting a job in Kuwait. This incident came to light on Friday and the youths filed an FIR at Rajkanika Police Station.
Biswajit Swain from Dalikaenda under Rajkanika block ran a job scam, and trapped in it were gullible youths of Kendrapada district. On the pretext of getting them well-paid jobs in Kuwait, he took Rs 60,000 from each person and gave them fake Visas, Passport and Flight tickets.
After some time, when these youths cross-checked the available documents, they found them to be forged. A complaint has been filed at Rajkanika Police Station and an inquiry has been initiated.
