Cuttack: Yet again a fake manufacturing unit has been busted in the city that has turned into a hub of adulterated products. A fake detergent powder manufacturing unit has been busted in in Tangi and Mahanga area of Cuttack on Tuesday and one person has been held in this connection.
The arrested accused has been identified as Abhijit Behera.
Based on reliable information regarding the fake manufacturing units, the Malgodown Police conducted raids and seized a huge quantity of spurious washing powders and stickers as well as packets of different known brands.
Detergent packets weighing about 1,540 kgs and around 1,800 kgs of loose detergent powder were seized from the manufacturing units.
