Puri: Ahead of the finalization of the ‘Rate Chart’ for Mahaprasad available for devotees at the Puri Srimandir, an experimental preparation of Abadha is being held today.
As per a decision taken by the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) earlier, it will decide on the cost of the Mahaprasad after taking into account the overall preparation cost of the experimental Abadha prepared today. Later, the chart will be put up at the Anand Bazar on the temple premise for devotees reference.
The Suara and Mahasuara Nijog held a meeting with district Collector Jyoti Prakash Dash in this connection yesterday where the decision was taken.
While all the raw materials and manpower needed for the Abadha preparation will be provided by the temple administration today, the process is scheduled to be held in the Kotha Bhoga Rosasala.
