Malkangiri: The Jawans and Maoists came face-to-face and an exchange of fire in Malkangiri district of Odisha on Sunday. The clash has taken place in Muduliguda jungle under Balimela police limits.
The information of a Maoist meet was received by the DVF jawans and they organized a combing operation. In the exchange of fire, a few maoists have been said to have allegedly been killed.
The jawans have seized a huge amount of explosives and other incrimination materials.
