Engineering student found hanging in room in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouded the death of an engineering student whose body was found hanging from a rented house in Shri Vihar area under Chandrasekharpur police limits here today.

The deceased has been identified as Bibhu Prasad Moharana of Charichhak area under Niali police limits in Cuttack district.

Some neighbours of the deceased came across his body this morning and called up police. The body was found hanging to the ceiling of his room.

After arriving at the spot and conducting preliminary investigation, the cops also recovered a suicide note by the side of the body.

The body has been rushed for autopsy and further investigation into the case is underway.
