Cuttack: Eminent Odia filmmaker Keshab Rout passed away following a cardiac arrest at his residence in Shankarpur of Cuttack today. He was 68.
Rout who had produced a number of Odia hit movies like ‘Santan’, ‘Bhisma Pratigyan’, ‘Suna Chadhei’ and ‘Suna Harini’ is well known for his landmark movie Suna Chadhei which had won widespread acclamation.
Besides producing Odia movies Rout also made several TV Serials at a later stage which won hearts of small screen viewers.
The late producer was also an executive committee member of Utkal Cine Chamber of Commerce (UCCC) died of cardiac arrest.
