Balasore: A colony of Emami Paper Mills at Remuna in Balasore district of Odisha has been declared as micro-containment zone today as 101 people have tested positive for Covid-19.
According to reports, a total of 158 Covid-19 cases were reported from Balasore in the past 24 hours out of which 101 cases have been reported from the paper mill.
Out of the three paper mills, one mill has been closed for sanitization purpose, informed Chief District Medical Officer of Balasore.
The contact tracing of the Covid positives is underway.
Meanwhile, the total active cases in Balasore is now at 290 after the detection of 158 new cases while the State has recorded 1741 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
