WATCH: Elephants create havoc in capital city of Odisha, 1 injured

Bhubaneswar: As many as three elephants created havoc in the Sailashree Vihar area of Bhubaneswar early on Thursday morning.

Reportedly, two elephants entered the city in search of a baby elephant at 4 am.

The locals of the Saraswati slum area in Sailashree Vihar were panic-stricken after they spotted two jumbos as the elephants demolished several houses and many vehicles have also been broken.

Meanwhile, one person of the locality has sustained injuries. The people immediately informed the local forest officials.

On getting the information, the forest officials arrived at the spot and chased away the three elephants to the Chandaka jungle. The injured person was immediately given first aid treatment.
