Balasore: In an unfortunate incident, an elephant has trampled a woman in Balasore district of Odisha in the wee hours of Sunday.
The incident has been reported from Khaira Tehsil. The deceased has been identified as Draupadi Ho. She was around 45-year-old.
The incident has been reported from the Baunsagadia panchayat in Khaira tehsil.
Reportedly, Draupadi was going to attend nature’s call when she came face to face with a wild elephant which trampled her.
Police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
