Keonjhar: Mystery shrouded the death of an elderly man whose body was found near Ghatagaon filling station in Keonjhar district today.
The death came to light after some locals who visited the filling station this morning spotted the body lying on the roadside and immediately rang up police and fire services personnel.
Later, firemen arrived at the spot and sent the body to Ghatagaon Community Health Centre (CHC) for autopsy.
Local police have lodged a case in connection with the case and started an investigation.
Identification of the deceased who seems to be in his sixties is yet to be ascertained.
