Nabrangpur: An old man was critically injured after being attacked by a bear in Gobaguda village under Jharigaon block of Nabrangpur district on Saturday.
The injured man has been identified as Mansay Jani.
According to reports, Mansay Jani and Konda Jani had gone to the nearby jungle to collect wood when they encountered with a wild bear. The wild bear attacked him leaving him critically injured.
The injured man was rescued by the locals and family members and admitted to Umerkote Community Health Centre (CHC) via 108 ambulance.
