Balasore: In an unfortunate incident in Phulbani village under Bhograi police station in Baleshwar district, the bodies of an elderly couple was recovered from near a pond.
The deceased couple have been identified as Kahnu Mantal and Shanti Mantal of Phulbani village.
While the cause of death still remains unclear, villagers spotted the two bodies lying near a pond in the neighbourhood this morning.
According to villagers, the duo might have consumed poison. Bhograi police are investigating into the matter.
