Angul: In a shocking incident an elderly couple was found dead inside a closed room in Angul district of Odisha today said reports.
The incident has taken place at Karnapur village under Bikrampur police limits.
The family members who spotted the bodies of the duo suspect death due to asphyxiation.
The duo has been identified as Dukhabandhu Sahoo and Panchali Sahoo.
Family and neighbours say that a short circuit occurred in a fan and the smoke that emanated from it killed the duo.
The police has reached the spot and further investigations are on.
