Bhadrak: An edible oil-laden truck caught fire on National Highway 16 near Barikpur square in Bhadrak district.
Reportedly, the truck was en route to Bhadrak from Bhubaneswar when the heavy vehicle dashed against another truck from behind. As a result, the edible oil-laden truck caught fire.
However, the driver and helper inside the truck luckily managed to jump out of the vehicle and save their lives.
Traffic congestion also took place in the area due to the fire mishap. On getting the information, Bhandaripokhari fire team arrived at the spot to contain the blaze.
A probe has also been initiated into the matter to ascertain the exact cause behind the sudden fire mishap.
