Bhubaneswar: General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR) Vidya Bhushan today distributed tablets to the girl child of railway employees.
Senior officials of ECoR including Principal Chief Personnel Officer, P.C Nayak were also present during the event.
ECoR has provided these hand tablets from its Central Staff Benefit Fund as part of welfare activities and to encourage innovation and academic excellence of the girl child studying higher secondary and also for women empowerment.
Altogether, 408 hand tablets were distributed to the girl child of railway employees from ECoR headquarters, Mancheswar Carriage Repair Workshop, Khurda Road Division, Waltair Division and Sambalpur Division.
