Earthquake felt in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: A mild earthquake was felt in northern parts of Odisha in the evening today.
According to H.R. Biswas Director of Meteorological centre, Bhubaneswar, earthquake of magnitude of 5.0 occurred at 6.33 PM in Hugli district of West Bengal.
The tremor of earthquake was felt in Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Anandpur in Keonhjar and few other places in north Odisha, he added.
It is worthwhile to mention here that a mild earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was felt in several parts of the state in the wee hours on August 9.
