Earlier Fight, Reason Behind Brutal Attack On Youth In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar:  New facts have come to light in the Akash Deora attack case that happened in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night.

The alleged reason for the stabbing is said to be an earlier fight with school students.

The fight was relating to a bike ride. 12 of the attackers were students said the police.

1 person has been arrested in this connection.  Raids are being held at various places to nab others involved.

He and his friends were sitting near the Kanakdurga Temple at Unit 9 area in the State capital last evening when a mob of 30-40 persons attacked him with sharp weapons.

Akash reportedly cried for help but the people present there remained mute spectators. He sustained severe injuries in his hands and legs.

On being informed, Sahid Nagar Police reached the spot and rescued Akash in a critical condition.  He was immediately rushed to a hospital for the treatment.
