Sambalpur: In a success to police against illegal drug traders in the district they arrested notorious drug mafia Sabir Khan after conducting a raid in Sambalpur on Tuesday.
As per the report, following a tip-off on the whereabouts of Khan a joint team of the special squad of Sambalpur Police and Town Police launched a raid this morning and nabbed Khan while he was en-route to an unknown place.
Khan, a key accused in the illegal drug business in Sambalpur has over 15 criminal cases pending against him under various police limits in the State, said police.
Interrogation of the held drug mafia is underway to extract more information on the flourishing narcotics business in the district.
