Khurda: Driver of a truck trailer got charred to death after crashing into rear of a truck on NH-16 near Harikund Baradi in Khurda district today.
The accident took place at around 7 am in the morning .
According to sources, the truck trailer hit a vegetable laden truck, following which the engine of the truck caught fire. The driver got no time to escape as fire engulfed the vehicle rapidly, and he was charred to death.

On being informed, the fire personnels reached the spot and douse the flames.
Later, Balugaon SDPO Suresh Dash along with Balugaon and Banpur IIC reached the spot and have started probe into the matter.
The truck trailer was coming from Berhampur towards Bhubaneswar.
