Driver Abandons Woman Mid-way Suspecting Her Husband’s Death In Corona, AP Police ASI Helps Her

Balasore: A police official from Andhra Pradesh reportedly turned Good Samaritan for an Odia woman who was abandoned by her driver midway after the death of her husband allegedly due to COVID-19.

A woman was on her way to Balasore with her husband in a car from Hyderabad. Unfortunately, her husband died on the way due to some unknown reason. However, the driver of the vehicle, suspecting her death in Corona, fled from the spot by leaving the woman and her dead husband on the side of the road.

The woman was sitting on the side of the road holding her husband’s body for a long time. In the meantime, Tekkali Police Station ASI N. Chandrashekhar reached the spot after getting information from someone.

Chandrashekhar then helped the woman and sent her to Balasore by the vehicle. Besides, he shared a video message urging the Andhra Pradesh and Odisha police not to harass the woman or block the vehicle.

Meanwhile, praises have poured in for the police officer for his exemplary work.
