Balasore: In a success to police, they have arrested wanted criminal Tapan Das alias Jagga by launching raid in Bhoagarai area of Balasore district on Sunday.
Based on a tip-off a joint team of Kamarda and Bhogarai police carried out a raid on Jagga’s hideout in Bhogarai area this morning and took the criminal into custody.
During the raid, the cops also seized a country-made pistol from the possession of the held criminal.
Jagga has five criminal cases pending against him under different police station areas which includes robbery and extortion.
