Bhubaneswar: In a surprise reshuffle in the highest echelons of Odisha police this evening, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sharma has been appointed as the new DGP of Odisha. He will replace KB Singh, who will take over as the CMD, OSRTC.
Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma has been posted as DG, Prisons. Arun Roy has been appointed as Additional DG, Headquarters.
While speaking to Kalinga TV, Dr. Sharma termed his new assignment as a big challenge, but said he would leave no stones unturned to discharge his duties with perfection.
