Dr Achyuta Samanta nominated as Jury Member for Bahrain’s highest Citizen Award
Bhubaneswar: Founder of KIIT and KISS, educationist and social worker Dr. Achyuta Samanta has been nominated as the Jury Member to the selection committee that chooses the person to be given the highest citizen award of Bahrain called ‘Isa’ for the year 2022.
The award is given to special persons for their extensive work in the field of social work. Dr. Samanta had been felicitated with this award in 2015.
Apart from Dr. Samanta , other 7 members from seven countries have been nominated as members of this Jury.
Expressing his happiness over the nomination to the Jury Dr. Samanta has expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King of Bahrain.
This highest civilian award is given every year. The award amount carries 1 million USD that is approximately Rs. 7.5 INR.
