Bhubaneswar: Renowned Social worker and educationist Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KISS and KIIT, got yet another honorary doctorate degree for outstanding work in social service and education.
Russia-based Saint-Petersburg Institute of Education presented Dr. Samanta an honorary doctorate degree in the sphere of humanities and social sciences.
The institute conferred the Doctor Honoris Causa to the founder of the largest tribal residential school of the world in recognition of his work in social service and his efforts to empower the poor through education.
With this, Dr. Samanta, who is also a member of many national and International bodies, has got more than 35 Honorary Doctorates from different prestigious universities of the world. He is also a recipient of innumerable awards and a record holder.
