Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, two women have been murdered in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
The incident has taken place under Chandrasekharpur police limits in the Chandrasekharpur Housing Board Colony.
According to reports, a man has allegedly hacked his wife and sister-in-law to death with a sharp object. The alleged killer has been identified as Bijay Ketan.
The killer was absconding after the incident. But when he returned to the murder scene today, his mother-in-law and father-in-law overpowered him and handed him over to police.
The Chandrashekharpur police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter.
Preliminary investigations by police have revealed that there were daily altercation between the husband and wife for a long time.
What is more shocking is that, the police suspect that the bodies had been kept hidden in the house for three days after the murder.
