Chilika: After almost decades, Dolphins has been sighted in the Palur Canal of Chilika in Khurda district this morning.
Officials sources said that sighting of dolphin in the canal might be due to the clearance of Khanda fish and the illegal prawn gherries in the upstream of the Canal.
There has been an increase of water level and abundance of food which helps in harbouring of the river dolphins.
